RIP: Kilkenny father was 'a tower of strength to many people'

Joseph 'Jojo' Donoghue

The tragic and untimely death of Joseph Donoghue, Chatsworth, Clogh, County Kilkenny has come as a great shock to all in the community.

A fine young man just 31 years old, his smile would warm up any room. He had a witty sense of humour but sadly he has gone long before his time.

Jojo as he liked to be called was himself a tower of strength to many people in their hour of need.

In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing which was his happy place, and he also liked to have a flutter or two on the horses.

Outgoing and kind-hearted, he was a passionate Liverpool fan and appropriately he left the Church for the final time to the anthem of You’ll Never Walk Alone.

He was laid to rest in Clogh Parish Cemetery after Requiem Mass celebrated in St Patrick’s Church by Fr Tom Corcoran PP Clogh assisted by Fr Eamonn O’Gorman PP Ballyragget.
