Deaths in Kilkenny for Monday, November 5

The late Philip Bolger

The death has taken place of Philip Bolger,  Ballyogan, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Philip died peacefully in St. Vincents Hospital, Dublin surrounded by his loving family. Deeply regretted by his brothers Pat and Willie, sisters Eileen, Mary, Bernie and Ann, his extended family, nieces, nephew, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home, Graignamanagh from 12 noon on Monday. Removal at 6.40pm to arrive at Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh for 7pm. Funeral Mass at 2pm on Tuesday followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery.

The late Liam Bill Carroll

The death has occurred of Liam Bill Carroll, Tower Road, Piltown, Co. Kilkenny, 3rd November 2018. Died peacefully at his residence, in the loving care of of his family and friends. Deeply missed by his wife Kathryn, sons Adrian, Conor and Ray, daughters-in-law Margaret, Claire and Ashling, his 11 grandchildren his sister Mary and all his nephews, nieces, relatives and many friends.

Reposing at his residence on Monday 5th from 2pm to 8pm. Funeral Mass on Tuesday 6th at 11am in The Church of the Assumption, Piltown, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only, please. Donations in lieu to The Irish Cancer Society.

The late john Dalton

The death has occurred of John Dalton, Ballymack, Cuffesgrange, Co. Kilkenny. Unexpectedly on Saturday, 3rd November, at St. James’s Hospital, Dublin. Deeply regretted by his sorrowing wife Helen, son Eoin, daughters Niamh, Sorcha and Orlaith, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law and his beloved grandchildren, brothers, sisters, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends.

The death has occurred of Ann Fenlon,  Brandon Park, Graignamanagh, Kilkenny. Deeply regretted by her sisters, brothers, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-laws, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. Daughter of the late Davy (Bus Driver) and Ellen Fenlon.

Reposing at her sister Frances McGrath's residence 26 Brandon Park from 10:00 AM Monday. Requiem Mass at 11:00 AM on Tuesday in Duiske Abbey followed by burial in Calvary Cemetery. House private on Tuesday morning.

The late Elizabeth (Lill) Conway

The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lill) Conway (née Holden), Ballintlea, Mullinavat, Piltown, Kilkenny

Died peacefully at Rockshire Care Centre, Ferrybank. Formerly of Owning Retirement Village, Owning, Piltown, County Kilkenny. Wife of the late Jimmy. Deeply regretted by her loving daughter Maura, son-in-law Pudsy, granddaughter Bridget, grandsons Eddie, Paddy, Paul and Kevin, great-grandchildren, relatives and friends.

Reposing on Sunday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 5.00pm until 7.30pm. Arriving on Monday at St. Beacon’s Church, Mullinavat for requiem mass at 11.00am. Burial after in adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please, donations to Owning Retirement Village.
