Kilkenny principal 'delighted to see so many students achieve over 600 points'

Principal of Kilkenny College, Emma Raughter, has informed Kilkenny Live of her delight today as students of the school received their Leaving Certificate results.

"We are extremely proud of every student in Kilkenny College and we are thrilled with their results," she said.

"But the points are merely a currency and a student's CAO points total don't tell the story of the hard work, ambition and dreams of our students.

"Our hope for our students is that they will use their Leaving Cert experience to launch them into the next stage of their journey.

"We congratulate each and every student and wish them every success in the future.

"The results tell many happy stories. Of course we are delighted to see so many students achieve over 600 points and some of those students achieving maximum points of 625."
