Tipperary calls as Kilkenny schools action takes centre stage

Loreto are in All-Ireland final action this afternoon.

It's a fest of schools GAA action later today as Loreto, St Kieran's and Kilkenny CBC all take to the field in knockout clashes.

In a quirky turn of fate all three games take place in neighbouring Tipperary and it's the Loreto that take pride of place as they take on Ursuline of Thurles in the All-Ireland Senior Camogie Final in Gortnahoe GAA club at 12noon.

The Kilkenny school were emphatic winners over Pres Athenry in the semi-finals but they can expect a much stiffer test here as they look to bring the All-Ireland title back to Noreside for a fourth year on the trot.

Elsewhere St Kieran's and Kilkenny CBC are both chasing a place in the last four of the All-Ireland Senior Hurling Croke Cup as they take on St Brigid's of Loughrea and St Flannan's of Ennis respectively.

Kilkenny CBC will then finish the second level action for the day as they look to rediscover their for when they meet Munster finalists St Flannan's of Ennis in Bansha at 2pm.
