What is the weather forecast for Kilkenny for Christmas Day?

Anyone dreaming of a white Christmas in Kilkenny is set to be disappointed this year according to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast for Christmas Day.

While the nation has been through a very cold spell of weather, it looks set to be relatively unsettled for the rest of this week. 

According to the latest Met Eireann weather forecast, the outlook for Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are uncertain but at the moment, it looks like Christmas Eve will bring a mix of bright or sunny spells and some showers with highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees and moderate to fresh southwest winds.

According to Met Eireann, Christmas Day looks like being cool and bright with a mix of sunshine and showers with moderate westerly winds and highest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees.

In the run up to Christmas, the weather will remain unsettled with temperatures reaching highs of nine or ten degrees with windy weather forecast at times.
