One of Ireland’s leading seasonal attractions, Hughes Farming Pumpkin Festival returns to Kells this weekend for another year of pumpkin picking!
Come visit on any Saturday and Sunday from this weekend until the Bank Holiday Monday for pumpkin picking and more!
The pumpkin patch has a lot to offer again this year, with amusements, soft play, face painting, art tent, hot food, mini diggers, swings, photo opportunities and of course pumpkin picking, with Ireland’s best and largest selection of pumpkins which have been grown here on the farm.
Only 90 minutes from Dublin and 15 minutes from Kilkenny City, this is an event not to be missed and a great family day out!
General admission is only €5 which can be purchased via Eventbrite.
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
One of Ireland’s highly rated and favourite pumpkin festivals, this is a great family day out for families with kids from one to 11 years of age.
It will be held every Saturday, Sunday and Bank Holiday Monday from October 14 to 30.
Based in Kells, pumpkins are produced on the farm and distributed nationwide to retailers and other pumpkin patches.
It promises to be an affordable day out, with loads of free activities on site such as a soft play area, art tent, swings, mini diggers and photo opportunities, as well as some paid activities such as face painting, hot food and amusements.
Operations and entertainment provided by Sonix Entertainment.
Educational school trips and corporate family days out have been arranged for October 20, subject to demand, pre-booking essential.
General admission tickets are €5 per person from www.eventbrite.ie
Pumpkins are not included in general admission but can be picked and purchased onsite for between €3 and €5.
