Huge excitement as drive-in cinema is coming to Kilkenny

Castlecomer Discovery Park in County Kilkenny will host a special Halloween weekend event as it transforms into an outdoor drive-in cinema on Thursday, October 30.

Moviegoers are invited to bring their cars, blankets, and popcorn for an evening of film screenings under the stars.

Two classic Halloween titles will feature on the big screen:

6:30 PM – Scooby-Doo (2002)
Families can enjoy a light-hearted start to the night as Scooby, Shaggy, and the Mystery Inc. gang tackle a supernatural mystery. The screening is aimed at children and families looking to kick off their Halloween celebrations in a fun way.

9:30 PM – IT (2017)
Later in the evening, the tone turns darker with Stephen King’s IT, featuring the infamous Pennywise the Dancing Clown. The horror film is rated 15+ and offers a scare-filled experience for those seeking a fright.
