Plans have been lodged seeking to convert a disused motor garage/shop into a funeral home in Callan, County Kilkenny.
The building in question is located on Lower Green Lane.
There are also plans to add a first floor internally and to alter the footpath in front to provide additional parking.
The property is a protected structure.
A decision on the plans is due from Kilkenny County Council by April 12, 2023.
