Heritage Week draws to a close this Sunday and there are still plenty of events happening across the city and county.

This evening a book launch, Castleinch Kilkenny - Connections Through Time will take place this evening at the graveyard in Castleinch at 7pm. The publication is a record of the history of Castleinch parish with an emphasis on those interred in its graveyard, within the wider context of the townland and the old civil parish of Castleinch.

On Saturday morning there are children friendly tours of Kilkenny Castle at 9.15am while a weaving workshop will take place at the Men's Shed in the Community Garden later on Saturday from 12pm to 2pm and 3pm to 5pm.

Other highlights include the Mystery Tour of Carrigeen on  Sunday (August 25)  from 2pm to 4pm, a guided walk of Kilmacoliver Loop Walk on August 25 from 2pm to 4pm.
