Best in Class Financial Business Person of the year has been awarded to a Kilkenny man, for the second year in a row.

Paraic O’Mahony, from Thomastown, has also been accredited with the ‘Trailblazer’ award by the All Ireland Business Foundation (AIBF) for “marking his place among a distinguished group of individuals who have made significant contributions to their industries, inspiring others within the business community.”

Paraic is CEO of Chapter Financial - which is also a multi-year award winning company. In the last year, Chapter Financial Life and Pensions have won the Best In Class Business Allstar award, also accredited by the AIBF, for the second year in a row.

Announcing the recognition, Deputy Chair of AIBF’s Adjudication Board, Kieran Ring, said: “On behalf of the All-Ireland Business Foundation, I extend our sincere congratulations to Paraic O’Mahony for his exceptional achievements and his significant contributions to the financial services industry.

“His recognition as an AIBF Trailblazer is a testament to his leadership, innovation, and dedication. Trailblazers like Paraic inspire us all, embodying the very best of Irish entrepreneurship and driving positive change in the business landscape.

Accepting the honour, Paraic said: “We are grateful to the AIBF for their recognition to date and I am happy to accept such awards on behalf of my team at Chapter Financial.”

In more good news for the local man, Paraic has just been appointed to a position on the Board of Brokers Ireland, representing the industry as a whole across Ireland.
“It was my honour to accept a position as a Director on the Board of Brokers Ireland. I hope to assist my colleagues in Brokers Ireland continue their pursuit of excellence in representing and supporting Brokers in Ireland,” he said.
