One of Kilkenny's favourite craft companies has been named as one of the big winners at this year's Showcase – Ireland’s Creative Expo.
Jerpoint Glass has been declared winner in the 'home' category at one of Ireland’s largest international trade shows that offers manufacturers, designers, and craft makers the opportunity to exhibit their new collections to 3,500 buyers from Ireland and overseas.
The local company's oil/dressing bottle was a hit with the judges.
Exhibitors selected for the Showcase Best Product Awards 2025 were chosen by a panel of industry experts from exhibitors spanning Home & Gift, Fashion, Jewellery, and Wellness. The judges nominated the ‘Best Product’ in each of their categories and the overall Best Product Award at Showcase 2025 was chosen by the Showcase judging panel.
HOME: The Showcase Best Product Award in the home category went to Jerpoint Glass Studio Ltd, Oil / Dressing Bottle
FASHION: The Showcase Best Product Award in the fashion category was Jennifer Rothwell, Ladies 100% Silk Kimono
GIFT: The Showcase Best Product Award in the gift category went to Badly Made Books, Agus Arís – linen notebook
JEWELLERY: The Showcase Best Product Award in the jewellery category went to Scribble & Stone, Ocean Triangle Studs
WELLNESS: The Showcase Best Product Award in the wellness category went to Naturally Balanced Kinsale, Maintain Body Oil
Other Category Winners:
SUSTAINABILITY AWARD: The winner of the Sustainability Award was Outcrop Ltd, “Local Spots”, round landscape maps
LOCAL ENTERPRISE SHOWCASE AWARD: The Local Enterprise Offices selected WASI, seaweed soap as the winner of the Local Enterprise Showcase Award.
Showcase is the largest inter-agency tradeshow of the year for the craft and design sector, presented by Design & Crafts Council Ireland, Enterprise Ireland and Local Enterprise Offices, and supported by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment. Showcase Ireland is a unique and ‘must attend’ show in buyers’ diaries. Showcase is organised on behalf of Design & Crafts Council Ireland, with support from Enterprise Ireland in promoting the trade show internationally through their network of offices overseas, and the Local Enterprise Offices nationwide.
