Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins in New York!
It's been a very busy week for Kilkenny woman and reigning Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins! Hot on the heels of winning Dancing With The Stars she jetted off to New York City to represent the International Rose of Tralee Festival in the city's famous St Patrick's Day Parade!
Katelyn went from lifting the Glitterball Trophy with her professional dance partner Leonardo Lini, in Dublin, to walking the streets of New York with her fellow Roses and Rose Escorts as part of the annual celebration of all things Irish in the Big Apple.
Before jumping on the plane in Dublin, Rose Katelyn told Kilkenny Live she was looking forward to the trip. It will last about two weeks, as she travels to other Irish centres in the US and then on to Irish communities in Canada, before returning home to Ireland.
