What does the public think about the ongoing fuel crisis protests?
We asked online readers for their opinion on whether or not they agree with the protests taking place from east to west across Ireland including Kilkenny, and the responses flowed in in their thousands.
Many chipped in to make their feelings known, and the results were unanimous. Just under 82% of you have sided with the protests, while almost 18% per cent of you disagree with the protesters blocking roads and oil refineries.
The poll had just under 6,300 views on KilkennyLive. It was posted to Facebook, where protesters and supporters have been at their most vocal. It got just over 131,800 Facebook views, and 4,000 people clicked the link. Hundreds also contributed comments on the Facebook post itself.
