Huge crowds gathered at Owning House on Sunday to enjoy a fun day of raffles, spinner prizes, stalls, light refreshments and face painting for the kids.
All present had a great time, with fantastic funds raised to help keep running the village to the highest standards. As always, the volunteers, committee and residents were to the fore in making sure everything ran smoothly, however, without the trojan efforts of Kathryn Carroll of the committee, and every one of the staff, the day would not have been anything near the success that it turned out to be.
Now that the garden party is out of the way, thoughts turn to the upcoming Golf Classic. Set to tee off at Carrick-On-Suir Golf Club on Saturday, August 19, a huge array of prizes will be on offer. Tee times can be booked through the club on 051-640047 or by contacting Eddie on 083-3253337.
There are still some tee sponsorships available also. To sponsor a tee, please contact Eddie. The cost of sponsorship is €50, and the cost of a team entry is €100 for a team of four.
