Students from six Kilkenny schools set for Lions Club Christmas Concert next week

KILKENNY

St Canice’s Cathedral will be centre stage with music and song on Thursday, December 14 when the 28th annual Lions Club Schools Concert takes place commencing at 7.30pm.

Performing on the night will be:
St Canices Co-Ed School Choir;
Church Hill National School Choir;
Gaelscoil Osrai Choir;
St John’s Senior School Choir;
Kilkenny School Project (KSP) Choir;
Alize School of Singing.

This is the 28th year the Lions Club has presented its Schools Concert in conjunction with the Kilkenny People and KCLR 96fm.

All proceeds go to the Lions Spirit of Christmas Hamper and Charity Appeal to help the needy of Kilkenny City and county.

Parking is limited and people are advised to use one of the following car parks: Market Yard, St Canice’s Catholic Church, St Mary’s Cathedral.

Admission is €10 per adult, €5 for OAPs and max €20 per family. Come along, as an excellent night’s entertainment is guaranteed.
