From this week's notes section of the Kilkenny People
Fr Sean O’Connor, a very busy man, took a well-deserved holiday last weekend as he made the trip to the Electric Picnic Festival.
The event has become the country's largest annual music and arts festival, with more and more thrill seekers going to the Stradbally site since the festival's inaugural year in 2004.
From young to old, there's something for everyone at the four day festival with Fr O'Connor one of the thousands to enjoy it, indulging in one of his favourite pastimes of listening to live music!
Last month as part of a number of changes in the Diocese if Ossory, it was revealed Fr O'Connor, the parish priest in Ballyhale, and pastoral area coordinator of the parishes of Aghaviller, Ballyhale and Mullinavat was appointed parish priest of Aghaviller and Mullinavat, while continuing his service to the people of Ballyhale and as pastoral area coordinator.
