Butler Gallery set to host fifth annual fundraising Craft Fair in Kilkenny

The event will take place in the historic Evans' Home building, featuring a unique setting for each of the Main Gallery, Learning Centre, and first-floor galleries, with a food element added this year
Butler Gallery will host its fifth annual fundraising Craft Fair next weekend from Friday, November 13 to Sunday, November 15.
The event will take place in the elegant setting of their historic building Evans’ Home, including the Main Gallery, Learning Centre, and first-floor galleries, each offering a unique setting.
Now in its fifth year, Butler Gallery has seen growth year-on-year in both footfall and interest from different crafters and makers. This year they have decided to move the dates a bit later, November 13, 14, 15. Butler Gallery is also introducing a food element to the Craft Fair, expanding on a small selection of food vendors last year who sold artisan foods to be consumed off-site, these retail food traders were in the downstairs Learning Centre, re-named the Food Hall.
This is a great opportunity to get your Christmas shopping done early whilst supporting local Irish handmade craft from ceramics to jewellery, glass, textiles, candles, body care, wood, food and mixed media.
Craft Fair weekend opening times: Friday, November 13: 2pm - 8pm; Saturday, November 14: 10am - 5pm; Sunday, November 15, 11am - 5pm.
Weekend entry fee: €5 pp. Free for children under 12. The entry fee includes automatic entry to a luxury craft prize draw. Tickets are available to pre-book online and at the door on the day.
Butler Gallery is a registered charity (CHY12922) and at all other times free to enter. The annual Craft Fair is a fundraiser for Butler Gallery, each year they aim to raise 30% of their funding through private donations, events and sponsorship.
Your entry fee and any donations will allow Butler Gallery to partially fund the care for their collection and building, showcase exciting temporary exhibitions, support emerging artists through their residencies and programme Learning & Public Engagement events throughout the year. Butler Gallery really appreciates your support; by paying this entry fee you will be entered into a raffle to win prizes from the crafters and makers. If you are feeling lucky additional raffle tickets are available to purchase on entry!
