Their debut album 'Halcyon' is currently top of the Irish album charts
Following a huge breakout year, the Limerick-based band Kingfishr has announced a series of additional Irish dates next summer.
Their debut album 'Halcyon' hit #1 on the Irish album charts following it's release on August 22 with singles 'Killeagh' and 'Diamonds and Roses' filling the #1 and #3 spots in the Irish singles charts.
Fresh off appearing on the main stage at Electric Picnic last weekend, the trio have now announced extra Irish dates for their summer concerts in Dublin, Cork and Belfast due to the phenomenal demand on tickets.
The largest venue Kingfishr played in the country this time last year was the Olympia Theatre but they are set to round out 2025 with two sold out shows in the 3Arena.
The band's added dates will be played at St. Anne's Park, Dublin on Friday, June 5 and the SSE Arena in Belfast on June 8. St. Anne's Park will be their biggest headline Irish show yet as the venue has a capacity of over 20,000.

They had already sold out Malahide Castle in Dublin on June 13 and SSE Arena in Belfast on June 9 which prompted the new dates being added.
They also recently added a second date in the Virgin Media Park in Cork for June 12 which is currently on sale after the first concert in the venue sold out rapidly.
The new dates for next summer mean that Kingfishr are expected to play to 109,000 people over the span of eight days which represents a monumental rise for the band who only formed in 2022.
The new dates will give fans who missed out on tickets a chance to see the folk band who are continually growing in popularity evident by the fact they will also be touring around Europe in November with many of the shows sold out already.
They will also be looking to boost their profile in the US supporting Country music star Dylan Gossett on his tour throughout September before embarking on their own headline tour stateside during October.
Their touring for 2025 will end with two sold out Dublin shows before Christmas. They can then look forward to their biggest concerts yet in front of the adoring Irish crowds next Summer.
Tickets for the new shows in Dublin and Belfast will go on sale Friday, September 5 at 10am. The tickets for the Cork and Dublin gigs cost from €59.90 to €69.90 subject to Ticketmaster charges.
