Pictures: Fantastic fun at Kilkenny Lions Club Christmas Schools Concert!

Lions Club says over €4,000 was raised, which brought Lions Spirit of Christmas Appeal fundraising for this year to almost €30,000

Kilkenny Lions Club organised a very successful Schools Concert in St Canice's Cathedral recently.

There was a capacity attendance of 550 at the event and all who attended thoroughly enjoyed the concert. George Candler was MC and ensured that the evening’s entertainment ran smoothly.

Schools that participated were:
Churchill NS
St Canices Co Ed School
CBS primary
St John of Gods girls primary
St John’s senior school

Maurice Regan, President of Kilkenny Lions Club said that over €4,000 was raised which brought the Lions Spirit of Christmas Appeal fundraising for this year to close on €30,000.

Joe Hickey, Lions School Coordinator, thanked all the schools, students, parents, Dean Stephen Farrell and the Lions School Committee for all their help and assistance.
