The death has occurred of Margaret (Peggy) Downes, Corcoran Terrace, Kells Road, Kilkenny on July 1, 2024 peacefully at Kilkenny Care Centre, Newpark. Predeceased by her sisters Maisie, Betty, Joanie, Ursula and Lily and brothers Sean and Pat. Peggy will be sadly missed by her sisters Breda, Phil, Sheila and Patsy, brother Joe, nephews, nieces, extended family, her great neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home on Wednesday, 3rd July, from 5pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday at 12 noon in St. Patrick's Church, Kilkenny. Funeral afterwards to S. Kieran's Cemetery.
