The death has occurred of Angela Ryan, St Mary's Avenue, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny, on April 7, 2025, peacefully in the loving care of Drakelands Nursing Home, Kilkenny in the presence of her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Jack and Mary, sister Margaret and her adored grandson Martin. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her daughter Deborah, son-in-law Michael, granddaughter Emma, sisters Teresa, Ann, Mary and Kathleen, brothers Paddy and John, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Reposing at her sister Ann's residence Assumption Place, Urlingford (Eircode E41 YH48) on Wednesday, April 9, from 5pm until 7.30pm. Removal on Thursday to the Church of the Assumption, Urlingford arriving for Requiem Mass at 2pm. Interment afterwards in St. Kieran's Cemetery, Johnstown.

The death has occurred of Chris (Roger) Greene, Foulkscourt, Johnstown, Co. Kilkenny formerly Abbey Street, Ballyhaunis, Co. Mayo, on April 6, 2025. Chris passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home in the arms of his loving son Rodger and daughter-in-law Amy. Predeceased by his parents Roger and Annie, his wife Bernadette and his sons David, Michael and baby Greene. Chris will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his loving family including his adored grandchildren Erin, Darby and David who he cherished with all his heart and soul. Sadly missed by his sister Anne, nephew Roger, Diana, kayli and Yasmin, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and a wide circle of friends including Benny, James, Pat, Liz, Conor, Peter and Tim.
Reposing at Doyle's funeral home Urlingford (Eircode E41 XO38) on Wednesday, April 9, 2025 from 5pm until 7pm. Removal from his residence on Thursday morning, April 10. to St. Kieran's Church, Johnstown, arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Interment afterwards in St. Kieran's Cemetery Johnstown. Peacefully, in the exceptional care of the staff of Care Choice Nursing Home, Northern Cross, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, April 8, 2025. Pre-deceased by his parents James and Margaret, brothers James, Neddy, Denis, Joe and Tom, his sister Bridie and his daughter-in-law Clare. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his wife Catherine, sons Jim and Paddy, daughter-in-law Dorothy, grandchildren Daniel, Sean and Ruth, brothers-in-law Fr. Reposing at Stafford’s Funeral Home, Portmarnock, Dublin (Eircode D13 EOA2) on Thursday, April 10, from 2pm to 4pm followed by removal to The Carmelite Church, Knocktopher, Kilkenny (Eircode R95 AP2K), arriving at 7.30pm. Requiem Mass on Friday, April 11, at 11am with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
The death has occurred of Pauline Cantwell (née Conroy), College Gardens, Kilkenny. Pauline, in her 92nd year, passed away on April 7, 2025, peacefully at St. Luke's Hospital. Predeceased by her beloved husband James (Jim) and son-in-law Billy. Beloved mother of Marian, Paul and Suzanne. Pauline will be dearly missed by her loving family, brother Michael, sister Mary, son-in-law Philip, daughter-in-law Gemma, grandchildren Shane, Aisling, William, Louise, Paul and Sarah Jane, brothers-in-law Dick, John and Oliver, sister-in-law Margaret, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Paul Madigan, Avondale Crescent, Templerainey, Arklow, Wicklow / Thomastown, Kilkenny / Coolgreany, Wexford, and late of Friar's Hill, Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny. Passed away peacefully at home on April 6, in the loving presence of his wife Miriam. Beloved, adored and best friend of his wife Miriam, son of Mary. Paul will be very sadly missed by his wife, mother, his best friend Mosh and all his large circle of friends, the extended Madigan family in Thomastown, Co. Kilkenny and all of Miriam's family (the Murphy Family, Johnstown, Arklow).
