The death has occurred of Paddy Raggett, Castle Gardens, Castle Road, Kilkenny, and formerly of Ballycaum, Stoneyford and Paddy Raggett Homes. Paddy passed away on May 25, 2025, peacefully at his home surrounded by family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Julia and his brother Eddie. Beloved father of Michael, Denise (Kenny), Paula (Holohan), Maria and Patrick. Paddy will be greatly missed by his loving children and their mother Breda, sister Mary, brothers Sean, Willie and Michael, sons-in-law Brian and Liam, Maria's partner Ronan, daughters-in-law Eileen and Laura, grandchildren Jenna, Leah, Padraig, Emily, Tara, Mikey, Orla, Liam, James, Louis, Evie, Emma, Paddy and Charlie, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
Paddy's family would like to thank sincerely all who looked after and cared for him over the past number of years. Reposing at his home on Castle Road (R95VAA0) on Tuesday, May 27, from 4pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday at 11am in St. Brendan's Church, Stoneyford, Co. Kilkenny. Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Ann Purcell (née Keogh) Mooncoin and formerly Slieverue, Co. Kilkenny. Ann passed in the care of the staff at Tramore Nursing Home, Waterford, on Monday, May 26, 2025. Predeceased by her husband Willie, daughter Elizabeth and partner Jim, parents, brothers Frankie and Dennis. Ann will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Annemarie, Liam, Jean, Susan, Raymond, Catriona and Adrian, Grandchildren Hazel, Megan, Libby, Ali, Shola, Emma, Adam, Jamie, Christopher, Kelly, Sarahjane, Louise, Joe, Abbie, Katelyn, Shane, Ben, Tia, Robert, Dean, Luke and Chloe, Great-grandchildren Tegan, Bella, Pippa, Daisy, Fionn, Hugo and Cruz, daughter-in-law Sharon, sons-in-law Packie, Chris, Ger and Tony, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Walsh's Funeral Home Carrick on Suir on Wednesday, May 28, from 6.30pm to 8pm. Arriving to the Church of the Assumption Mooncoin on Thursday, May 29, for funeral mass at 11am, followed by burial in the old cemetery
The death has occurred of Margo Anthony (née Comerford), Owning, Piltown, Co Kilkenny. Margo passed away peacefully on May 26, 2025. Predeceased by her husband Raymond. Sadly missed by her children Angela, Kathleen ,Tom and Hilda , sister Joan, brother Seamus and sister-in-law Rene, Grandchildren Sean, Conor, Maggie, Patrick and Thomas.

The death has occurred of John Kilroy, Bennettsbridge, Kilkenny, R95 E8XN, and formerly of Green View Terrace, Callan, Co. Kilkenny, on Saturday, May 24, 2025. Beloved husband of the late Teresa, and loving father of Deirdre, Eleanor, Miriam, Thomas and Lucy, who are broken hearted and will miss him terribly. Lovingly remembered by his sons-in-law Cian, Rob, Thomas and Sean. His adoring grandchildren Oscar, Tara, Ruadhan, Amber, Hugh and Grainne who will feel his absence greatly, as well as his beloved sisters, Bernie (Sr. Mercy), Philly, and Ursula, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a large circle of friends. Predeceased by his sisters, Sr. Maureen and Josie (Sr. Perpetua) and brothers Michael, Paddy, Tommy and Brendan.
Reposing at his home in Bennettsbridge, (Eircode R95 E8XN), on Tuesday, May 27, from 3pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral arriving to St. Bennett’s Church, Bennettsbridge (Eircode R95 HC93) for Requiem Mass on Wednesday morning, May 28, at 11.30am. Burial will follow afterwards in the adjoining churchyard.
The death has occurred of David (Dave) Drennan, Westfield, Loughboy, Kilkenny, on May 24, 2025 (peacefully) surrounded by his loving family at home. Predeceased by his parents Mary and Liamy. Beloved husband of Lorraine and loving father of Chris, Catherine, Richie, Mikey, Amy, Adam and Robert. Dave will be deeply missed by his wife and children, their partners, his siblings Annette, Jimmy and Molly, grandchildren Jenni, Justin, Aaron, Abby, Andreya, Jodie and Kaia, uncles, aunt, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours and his many friends.
