The death has occurred of Donal (Doney) Walsh, late of Ballybricken, Waterford City, and formerly of Ballykeoghan, Kilmacow, Kilkenny. Doney passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 23, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved parents, his twin sisters Breda and Alicia, brother Senan, and his ever loved and much missed grandson Jordan. Deeply regretted by his loving children Ronald, Rachel, Aishling, Donal, Norma Jean, Aidan, Terence, Olivia and the mother of their children Stella, his adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Doney will be fondly remembered by his brother John and sister Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, especially Padser and many friends.
Reposing at his daughter Rachel's House, 27 Saint Catherine's Grange (X91 N2K4) on Wednesday, June 25, from 5pm to 7pm. Requiem Mass on Thursday, June 26, at 12 noon in St. Senan's Church, Kilmacow, Co. Kilkenny. Immediately afterwards Doney will be laid to rest in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Bess) O'Keeffe, The Swan, Wolfhill, Laois, formerly of Chatsworth, Clogh, Co. Kilkenny. Elizabeth died peacefully in Connolly Hospital, Blanchardstown. Sadly missed by her loving sisters Alice (Dublin), Mary (Australia) and Margaret (New York), nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The death has occurred of Sami Corcoran, 14 The Green, Robertshill, Circular Road, Kilkenny City, unexpectedly on Saturday June 21, 2025. Sami will be deeply missed by his heartbroken parents Martin and Anita (née Cullen) and his sister Abbie, his grandparents Paddy and Anne Cullen and Brendan Corcoran. Forever loved by his aunts Colette, Frances, Brenda, Carol, uncles Brendan, Gabriel, Dermot and John, cousins, extended family, good neighbours and friends.
Sami will repose at his residence 14 The Green, Robertshill (R95 W9E2) on Wednesday, June 25, from 5pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday (26th) at 11am in St. Mary’s Cathedral followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed here Family flowers only please. The death has occurred of Gerard (Gerry) Brennan, late of Gortrush, Piltown, Co Kilkenny. Gerard passed away on Saturday, June 21, 2025, in the tender care of his family and the staff of the Oak Ward in the University Hospital Waterford. Predeceased by his parents, Martin and Kathleen, his wife Catherine (Cepta) Brennan and his sister, Noreen and brother Kevin. Sadly missed by his sons Eoin and Gerard, brothers and sisters, Margaret, Michael, Anne, Maurice, Cáit, Eugene and Martina, daughters in law Gretta and Jackie, grandchildren Seán, Lily and Lucia, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Beloved wife of Alex, mother of the late Baby Sandra and sister of the recently deceased Margaret. The death has occurred of Margaret Shore (née O'Meara), Moate Road, Freshford, Kilkenny / Mullinahone, Tipperary, and late of 63 Quarry Road, Whitney, Oxfordshire, England. The death has occurred of Jimmy O'Neill, Seven Houses, Danesfort, Kilkenny, who died peacefully on June 24, 2025 in the excellent care of all the staff in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, surrounded by his devoted family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ellen, infant sister Mary, brother Owen and grandchildren Stephen and John. Jimmy will be deeply missed by his loving and caring wife Mary, sons Joe, Brendan, Mark and daughter Teresa, daughters-in-law Regina, Maggie, Cathy and son-in-law David. Jimmy will be forever missed by his adored (11) grandchildren, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, extended family, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Jimmy will be reposing at his daughter Teresa’s residence, Seven Houses (R95 DK22) on Thursday, June 26, from 3pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6pm. Removal on Friday morning (27th) from Jimmy’s residence to St. Michael’s Church, Danesfort for Requiem Mass at 11am and followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. The death has occurred of Helen Ryan (née Cole), Ballinakill, Graignamanagh, Co Kilkenny, formerly Kill, Co Waterford, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, in the wonderful care of the staff in Pine Ward, University Hospital Waterford, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her parents Mary and George, her husband Patrick (Patsy), her brothers Brendan and Paddy and her sister Colette. Much loved Mother of Paul, Marina (Byrne) and Valerie. Helen will be forever loved and dearly missed by her loving children, her heartbroken grandchildren Rachel, Nicola, Eimear, Orlaith, Bryan, Shona and Kieran, her daughter in law Margaret, son in law Pat, Valerie’s partner Noel, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends. She will also be sadly missed by her friends and staff of New Haughton Hospital, New Ross where she spent her final few months. The family would like to thank all the carers who cared for Helen over many years in her own home.
