The death has occurred of Thomas Lennon, Ballinaboola, Maddoxtown, Co. Kilkenny, and Nice, France. Thomas passed away on June 18, 2025, unexpectedly, in Nice, France, at the age of 32. Predeceased by his baby sister Angela and grandparents Sean and Brigid Lennon and Tom Cullen. Cherished son of Jack and Margaret and dear brother of John, Avril, Ciara and Kelley. Thomas will be dearly missed by his heartbroken family, grandmother Mary (Cullen), sister-in-law Sinéad, brothers-in-law Alan, Pat and Kevin, nieces and nephews Millie, Sam, Heidi, Alfie, Sophie, Olivia, Matthew, Tiernan and Hannah, aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends in Ireland, France and around the world.
Thomas will repose at his family home in Ballinaboola (R95E3H4) on Saturday, June 28, from 4pm to 8pm pausing for Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.45pm. Funeral Mass on Sunday afternoon at 3pm in St. Kieran's Church, Tullaherin. Interment afterwards in Dungarvan Cemetery. House private on Sunday please. Thomas' family would love if those attending the Funeral could dress brightly to honour his memory. The family would like to thank in a special way Marian Lennon for all her support and help in Nice. The death has occurred of Paddy Butler Snr., Bleach Road, Dunmore, Co. Kilkenny. Paddy passed away on June 24, 2025, peacefully, surrounded by his family, at Archersrath Nursing Home. Beloved husband of Stephanie and much loved father of Aisling and Patrick. The death has occurred of Donal (Doney) Walsh, late of Ballybricken, Waterford City, and formerly of Ballykeoghan, Kilmacow, Kilkenny. Doney passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, June 23, 2025. Predeceased by his beloved parents, his twin sisters Breda and Alicia, brother Senan, and his ever loved and much missed grandson Jordan. Deeply regretted by his loving children Ronald, Rachel, Aishling, Donal, Norma Jean, Aidan, Terence, Olivia and the mother of their children Stella, his adoring grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The death has occurred of Jimmy O'Neill, Seven Houses, Danesfort, Kilkenny, who died peacefully on June 24, 2025 in the excellent care of all the staff in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny City, surrounded by his devoted family. Predeceased by his parents Michael and Ellen, infant sister Mary, brother Owen and grandchildren Stephen and John. Jimmy will be deeply missed by his loving and caring wife Mary, sons Joe, Brendan, Mark and daughter Teresa, daughters-in-law Regina, Maggie, Cathy and son-in-law David. The death has occurred of Helen Ryan (née Cole), Ballinakill, Graignamanagh, Co Kilkenny, formerly Kill, Co Waterford, who passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 24, in the wonderful care of the staff in Pine Ward, University Hospital Waterford, in her 87th year. Predeceased by her parents Mary and George, her husband Patrick (Patsy), her brothers Brendan and Paddy and her sister Colette. Much loved Mother of Paul, Marina (Byrne) and Valerie. Helen will be forever loved and dearly missed by her loving children, her heartbroken grandchildren Rachel, Nicola, Eimear, Orlaith, Bryan, Shona and Kieran, her daughter in law Margaret, son in law Pat, Valerie’s partner Noel, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends. She will also be sadly missed by her friends and staff of New Haughton Hospital, New Ross where she spent her final few months. The family would like to thank all the carers who cared for Helen over many years in her own home.
