Barry Ronan

The death has occurred of Barry Ronan, Rosbercon and formerly of The Quay, New Ross and Kilkenny City, on November 5, 2025. Sadly missed by his loving sons Fintan and Derek, daughter Denise, grandchildren Ella, Abbie, Dearbhla, Hannah, Art and Ultan, daughters-in-law Una and Maria, son-in-law Ciaran, extended family and friends.

Reposing at Cooney's Funeral Home, New Ross, on Friday, November 7, from 4pm concluding at 7pm.
Removal on Saturday, November 8, to St. Mary & Michael's Parish Church, New Ross, arriving for funeral mass at 12noon followed immediately afterwards by a cremation committal ceremony at Cooney's Funeral Home. John Power

The death has occurred of John Power, Lisduff, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary/ Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny, on November 6, 2025, peacefully in the wonderful loving care of management, nurses and staff at Archersrath Nursing Home, Kilkenny. Predeceased by his wife Mary (née Long) and his parents John and Maggie. Sadly missed and remembered with love by his sons Seàn and Kevin, his adored grandchildren Ritchie, Joseph and Matthew, daughter-in-law Louise, Ritchie's partner Aisling, sister Kathleen (Hennessy), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Doyle's Funeral Home, Urlingford (Eircode E41 XO38) on Friday evening, November 7, from 5pm until 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in Aglish Cemetery.

Mary Elizabeth (Maureen) Murray (née Daly)

The death has occurred of Mary Elizabeth (Maureen) Murray (née Daly). Late of Kingston upon Hull, England, formerly of Kilmoganny, Co. Kilkenny, on September 23, 2025 at St Mary’s Nursing Home, Kingston upon Hull, in the presence of her loving family. Funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, November 11, at 11am in the Church of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Killian, Clondalkin, followed by burial in Newlands Cross Cemetery.

Maureen will be sadly missed by her loving husband Jim, children Anne, Brian, Marie, Mark and James, daughters in law Rachel and Crystal, grandchildren Patrick, Pierce, Alice, Eloise, and Emily, and great-grandchildren, her sisters Breda, Bernadette, and Geraldine, brothers Paddy, Sean, and Francis, sisters in law, brothers in law, and extended family and friends.

Edward (Eddie) Dooley

The death has occurred of Edward (Eddie) Dooley, The Square, Freshford, Kilkenny. Eddie, died peacefully, in the loving care of his family and the staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick. Pre-deceased by his parents Patrick and Mary and sister Sheila. Deeply regretted by his loving wife Helen (Walsh), son Eamonn, daughters Aileen, Gráinne and Sheila, grandchildren Alex, Dónal, Méabh, daughter-in-law Mary (Rooney), son-in-law Mark (Rowe), Sheila's partner Johnny (Ryan), brothers Kieran and Séamus, sister Patricia (Patti) (Kingston), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing in Kennedy's Funeral Home, Freshford, R95 C44T, on Friday from 6.30pm with Vigil Prayers and Rosary at 8pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in St. Lachtain's Church, R95 K003. Burial afterwards in St. Lachtain's Cemetery. The Dooley family would like to express their sincere thanks to the many carers who looked after Eddie for the last few years.
