The death has occurred of Tommy Ryan, of Harrison, New York, formerly Ballygub, Inistioge, who passed away on November 19. Tommy was pre-deceased by his parents, Paddy and Peggy, and his brothers Pierce and Pat. Tommy is survived by his loving wife, Anne (née Whelan), his children, Sarah, Kate, Molly, and Jack, his brothers Johnny, Joe, and Jimmy, his sisters, Chrissy and Anna, his brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Tommy's funeral mass will take place in New York on Saturday, November 22, at 3pm (GMT) and can be viewed live online here
The death has occurred of Michael Pierce, High Street, Ballyragget, and formerly of Coolcullen, Carlow, Via Kilkenny on November 19, 2025. Pre-deceased by his father Laurance, mother Deborah, brothers Laurance, Denis and Joseph, sister Mary, nephew Christopher and nieces Maureen and Noeleen. Michael will be sadly missed by his nieces, nephews, and extended family.

The death has occurred of Leo Mahon, Barrow Lane, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Leo passed away at home on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. He will be sadly missed by his wife Ann (née Cullerton), his sons Colin, Darren and Gary, his sister Rose and brother Michael, grandchildren William, Lola, Ben, Lucas, Finn and Christopher, his extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing in Walsh's Funeral Home, Graiguenamanagh (Eircode R95D853) on Thursday, November 27, from 2pm to 6.15pm followed by removal at 6.40pm to Duiske Abbey for prayers and Rosary at 7pm. Requiem Mass at 11am on Friday, November 28, followed by burial in Calvary cemetery.
The death has occurred of Joe (Jodie) O’Brien (retired member of An Garda Siochana) Cherrymount, Clonmel and late of Piltown, Co. Kilkenny. Died peacefully on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, after a long illness bravely borne, in the wonderful care of St. Anthony’s Unit in Clonmel, Co Tipperary. (Predeceased by his parents, brothers Dan, Tony, Frank, Lory, sister May and Nephews Niall and Tony). The death has occurred of Jake Sheeran-O’Brien, Green Street, Callan, Co. Kilkenny. Unexpectedly, on Tuesday, November 18, 2025. Jake will be deeply missed and his memories kept alive by his heartbroken family, his sons Brayden and Jamie and their mother Chloe, his parents Michael and Anne, his sisters Amanda and Zoe, Amanda’s partner Paul, his brother Jordan, Eileen and his extended Family in Carlow, The Sheeran Family in Athy, aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

The death has occurred of Richard (Ritchie) Mahoney, Old Road, Urlingford, Co. Kilkenny and formerly Fennor, Gortnahoe, Thurles, Co. Tipperary, November 18, 2025, peacefully in the loving care of nurses and staff at Fennor Care Facility, Urlingford. Predeceased by his partner Kathleen, his parents Edward and Kitty and his brothers-in-law Ken (Coogan) and Chris (Brennan). Sadly missed by his loving sisters Anne and Eileen, brother John, niece, nephews, extended family and a wide circle of friends.
Removal on Friday morning to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Gortnahoe arriving for Requiem Mass at 11.30am. Interment afterwards in Fennor Cemetery.

Tipperary, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on November 19, 2025. Pre-deceased by his loving daughter Sarah, parents, brothers and sisters, sadly missed by his loving wife Dolores, children John Paul, Sinead and Pamela, sister Phyllis, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, grandchildren Rebecca, Kieran, Sarah, Annie, Tommy, Rhys, Kaiden, Caoimhe, Erin and Fiadh, sons-in-law Peter and Patrick, daughter-in-law Claire, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
