The death has occurred of Jack Ronan, Knockeenbawn, Kilmanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Peacefully, after a long illness bravely borne, surrounded by his loving family at his home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Pre-deceased by his son Billy, his brothers and sister. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his beloved wife Joan, his daughter Nora, his sons Johnny, Peter, Timmy and Maurice, daughters-in-law Josie and Assumpta, his seven grandchildren, his nine great-grandchildren, his sister Kitty (Fitzmaurice), brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours, friends and all in Graigue-Ballycallan GAA Club.
Reposing in Tom Ryall Park, Graigue-Ballycallan GAA Club House (Eircode R95 VK63), on Thursday, January 15, from 3pm. Funeral Prayers at 7pm followed by removal to Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Kilmanagh, (Eircode R95 F407). Requiem Mass will take place on Friday, January 16, at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Mary's Cemetery, Ballykeeffe. The Requiem Mass may be viewed live on Ballycallan Parish Webcam at (CLICK HERE) House private please. The death has occurred of Sean O'Brien, Courtnaboughla, Goresbridge, Co. Kilkenny. Sean died peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 13.

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Pre-deceased by her husband Jimmy. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her sorrowing family, her children John, Pat, Jimmy and Margaret (Doheny), daughters-in-law Maria, Geraldine and Helen, son-in-law Frank, grandchildren, great grandchildren, sisters-in-law Rita and Chrissie, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443) on Wednesday, January 14, from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Prayers on Thursday, January 15, at 10.15am followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption, Callan arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Kilbride Cemetery, Callan.
