The death has occurred of Roderick Drevar Murphy, Skeaghvasteen, Co. Kilkenny, who passed away peacefully, on Tuesday, February 24, at the age of 89. Roderick is survived by his beloved wife Caroline and will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his children Justin, Rosalind and Humphrey, grandchildren Arthur, Felix, Isaac and Richard, sister Primrose, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.
Reposing at Tinnakeenly House, Skeaghvasteen (Eircode: R95 FF65) on Thursday, February 26, from 4pm until 8pm. Removal on Friday, February 27, to Borris House Chapel for a Funeral Service at 2pm. The death has occurred of Tony Fitzpatrick, late of Coolcashin House, Gathabawn, Kilkenny, and Sydney Australia. Tony died peacefully in the tender care of his family and doctors. Beloved husband of Denise and father to his children Elaine, Michelle, Nicola and Anthony and step daughter Kellie, his sons-in-law and daughter-in-law. Dearly loved by his grandchildren and step grandchildren. Sadly missed by his brothers Hughie, Vincent, Joe and Jimmy and his sisters Carmel, Harriet and Pauline, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews along with the wider family circle and his many friends in Australia and here in Ireland.
A prayer service to celebrate the life of Tony will be held at St. Nicholas Myra Catholic Church, 326 High Street Penrith, Sydney on Tuesday, March 3, at 11am. The death has occurred of Mary Grace (née Sullivan), Riversfield, Callan, Co Kilkenny. Peacefully, with her devoted family by her side on Tuesday, February 24, 2026. Beloved wife of John and loving mother to Sinéad, Carina, Vivienne, Vincent, and Gavin, also survived by daughters-in-law Clare and Aedamair, grandchildren Jenny, Charlie, Paddy, Stella, Beibhinn and Fiadh, her brother Donal and her sister Win, brothers-in-law Niall, Paddy and Michael, sister-in-law Jean, her nieces and nephews. Mary is pre-deceased by her brother-in-law Ned and sisters-in-law Helen and Maura.
Mary will be reposing in her home at Riversfield, Callan (Eircode R95 X0E4) on Thursday, February 26, from 4pm, concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. House private please at all other times. Funeral arriving at The Church of the Assumption, Callan (Eircode R95 VK82) for Requiem Mass on Friday, February 27, at 11am. The death has occurred of Michael Maher formerly Windgap, Kilkenny /Surrey England and Crosstown, Wexford. Surrounded by his loving family. Michael is so deeply missed and remembered with huge love by his loving wife Noreen; adored sons Michael Jnr and Noel; treasured daughters-in-law Éadaoin and Josie; cherished grandchildren Orla and Senán; and all his many friends including those throughout the GAA Communities of London.
Funeral mass will take place on Saturday, February 28, at 12 noon in St Ibar's Church Castlebridge; followed by burial in Castlebridge Cemetery.
The death has occurred of Bridget (Cissie) Phelan (née Dunne), Brandondale, Graignamanagh, Co. Kilkenny. Cissie passed away peacefully on February 25, in St. Luke's Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her parents Paddy and Ellen, her late husband Jimmy, her sisters Annie, Eily, Peggy Stella and her brother John. Sadly missed by her sons Eamonn and Jimmy and her daughter Helen, her son in law Dick and daughter in law Camille, her grandchildren Chloe, Laura, Ethan, Kaitlin, Sean, Olive and Mia, also her great grandchildren Ayla and Roisín and all her nieces and nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Removal on Friday morning at 10.40am to arrive at Duiske Abbey, Graignamanagh for 11am Requiem Mass, followed by burial in Calvary cemetery. Family flowers only please.
