The death has occurred of Seamus Dunne, "Lissadell", Castlecomer Road, Kilkenny. Formerly of Tullow, Co. Carlow and Kilkenny Electrical Wholesale. Seamus passed away on March 12, 2026, peacefully, in the wonderful care of the staff of the Cherry Ward at University Hospital, Waterford. Beloved husband of Margaret and much loved father of David, Peter, Marlis, Mark and Robert. Seamus will be dearly missed by his loving family, brothers Sean and Thomas, sister Anne, daughters-in-law Issy and Niamh, son-in-law Jonathan, grandchildren Anna, James, Liam, Jakob, Theia and Kaya, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, his many friends and all who knew him. Predeceased by his parents Thomas and Maureen and sister Mary.

Predeceased by his loving wife Lena. Paschal will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by his daughter Breda, son John, grandchildren Niamh, Claire, Conor, Aidan, Niall and Aoife, son-in-law Tom, daughter-in-law Majella, sister Ann, extended family, kind neighbours and friends.

Beloved wife of the late Eamonn and much loved mother of Allen, David, Helen and Haidee. She will be sadly missed by her loving children, daughter-in-law Aisling, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
The death has occurred of John McCormack, Ring Road, Loughboy, Kilkenny. John, in his 90th year, passed away unexpectedly on March 13, 2026. Beloved husband of the late Bernadette (Bernie) and much loved father of Caroline, John, Niall, Roseann, Celine and Lorna. John will be dearly missed by his loving family, sister Kathleen, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, his 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, extended family, kind neighbours and friends. The death has occurred of John Kerry Keane, Crans Montana, Switzerland and formerly of Blackrock, Co. Dublin and Kilkenny, March 13, 2026, peacefully after a long illness. Beloved husband of Leonora (née Murray) and truly loved father of Adriana, the late Andrea (deceased 1990), Tanya and Leo. John will be very sadly missed and forever loved by his adored grandchildren Amber, Lauren, Charlotte, Gracie May, Andrew, George, John Joseph and Helena, sons-in-law Alan McGilton and Conor MacManus, the late Bryan McSharry (deceased 2023), extended family and his many friends from his wonderful life adventures in Ireland and around the world.

The death has occurred of Alice Phelan (née Power), Kilcraggin, Mooncoin, Kilkenny / Waterford. On Saturday, March 14, 2026, Alice passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her husband Davy (David) Phelan and her baby son Patrick. Alice was the much-loved mother of David, Maria, Sheamus, Noel, Stephen, Annette, Clodagh, Alison and Derek. She will be sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Margaret, Louise, Cora, Alison and Katarina, and her sons-in-law Niall, Adam and Rajeev. Alice was a devoted and very proud grandmother to her 25 adored grandchildren. She is also sadly missed by the families of her late sisters and brothers, her neighbours and her many friends.
Reposing on Monday at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 3pm until 6pm followed by removal to The Church of the Assumption Mooncoin for Mass at 7pm. Requiem Mass on Tuesday at 10am. Burial after in the adjoining cemetery. Alice’s kindness and love for her family will never be forgotten, and her memory will be treasured always.

The death has occurred of Mary Lennon, Main Street, Johnstown, Kilkenny, E41V261. Formerly Ballycuddihy, Johnstown. Daughter of the late Michael and Bridget Lennon, predeceased by her sister Kitty, and her brothers in law, Jimmy Lanigan and Pat Holohan. Mary died in the loving care of the staff in the Nore Ward, St. Luke's Hospital. Mary will be sadly missed by her sister Margaret Lanigan, Ballysloe, Co Tipperary, her nephews Eamon, Michael, Jimmy and Martin Lanigan, their wives Susan, Christine and Rosemary, her grand nieces Linzi, Niamh, Mikaela, and Muireann, grand nephew Christopher, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.
Mary will be reposing at her residence on Tuesday, 17th from 4pm to 7pm, with removal to St. Kieran's Church, Johnstown, arriving for prayers at 7.30pm. Requiem mass on Wednesday at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
