As the curtain is slowly pulled down on the St Canice’s Credit Union Senior Hurling League, just two games remain.
Shamrocks and Thomastown clash in the league final from 4pm on Saturday. Preceding that at 2pm is the shield decider involving Graigue Ballycallan and O’Loughlin Gaels.
However, the main focus for Kilkenny supporters is the first round and relegation semi-final encounters.
Clara will play Erins Own at 12noon in Ballyragget on Saturday in the first relegation semi-final, while a neighbourly derby between Danesfort and Bennettsbridge throws in at UPMC Nowlan Park on Sunday evening at 4.30pm.
In the first round, Dicksboro make the trip down south to Mullinavat to face Glenmore for a 2pm throw-in on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Sunday delivers an equally intriguing match as Tullaroan and Mullinavat tussle it out in John Locke Park at 2.30pm.
