UPDATE: Gardaí have confirmed to Kilkenny Live that an adult male, aged in his 40s, is receiving treatment for 'serious injuries' at St Luke’s General Hospital following a collision in the city centre.
Gardaí and emergency services responded to a collision on John Street Lower shortly after 2pm on Wednesday afternoon.

"The collision involved a motor vehicle and a mobility device," gardaí confirmed in a statement.
Investigations are ongoing.
