Mayor of Kilkenny to call for traffic measures in a number of city housing estates

Mayor of Kilkenny, Cllr John Coonan, has called on Kilkenny County Council to introduce urgent traffic-calming measures across a number of housing estates in the city, citing ongoing concerns about speeding and dangerous driving.

The issue will be raised in a motion at next week’s meeting of the Kilkenny City Municipal District, where Cllr Coonan is seeking the implementation of measures in the Ardnore area, specifically in Larchfield, Sycamore Drive, Woodbine Avenue and Laurel Drive.
