LATEST: Worrying number of patients without a bed at St Luke's Hospital in Kilkenny

There are 15 patients waiting for a trolley in the emergency department at St Luke's General Hospital in Kilkenny today and a further 19 patients waiting on the ward according to today’s (Thursday) INMO Trolley Watch figures.

Nationally, there are 602 patients waiting for beds, 226 patients are waiting in the emergency department, while 54 are in wards elsewhere in the hospital.
