St Luke's General Hospital
St Luke’s General Hospital in Kilkenny has announced it is implementing visitor restrictions to reduce the spread of Norovirus.
Visiting will be on compassionate grounds, which will be assessed by the Ward Manager. Designated visitors will be required to wear a mask while in wards.
In the Paediatric (Children’s) Unit, only one parent or guardian can visit unless approved in advance by contacting the Ward Manager. Additionally, only one parent or guardian should attend the Paediatric Assessment Unit with a child.

In the Maternity Unit, visiting is restricted to the patient’s partners or support
These measures are vital to avoid spreading Norovirus among the patients, visitors and staff and the hospital would like to thank the public for their co-operation and understanding at this time.
