Gardaí are dealing with a collision on the Kilkenny ring road

Traffic is now flowing freely again following a collision on the Kilkenny ring road this morning.
Gardaí attended the scene of a collision where a pedal cyclist came off his bike and was injured. He was taken to hospital by ambulance but his injuries are not serious.
There were significant traffic delays following the incident.
Anyone who was in the area of the Carlow Road roundabout at about 9.30am today (Tuesday) and may have witness the collision is asked to contact Kilkenny Garda Station on (052)7775000.

Kilkenny motorists are warned of major delays on the city's ring road this morning (Tuesday) following a traffic collision.
The collision occurred around 10am at the Carlow Road (Dublin Road) roundabout.
Gardaí are at the scene dealing with the incident and are appealing to motorists to avoid the area for the next few hours as there are major traffic delays in the area.
