The death has occurred of Alice Shasby (née Hogan)
St. Rioch's Street, Kilkenny City, Kilkenny / Cuffesgrange, Kilkenny

Alice Shasby (nee Hogan) (St. Rioch's Street, Kilkenny City and formerly of Burnchurch, Cuffesgrange) passed away peacefully at her daughter and son-in-law’s residence Mary and Tom, Aylesbury, on 18th May 2023 surrounded by her devoted and loving family. Predeceased by her husband Pat, recently deceased niece Rita and last surviving member of the Hogan Family, Burnchurch. Deeply regretted and missed by her loving daughters Patricia, Margaret, Breda, Mary and son Michael, and their partners. Alice will be forever missed by her grandchildren, Alice Jean, Tom and Michaela, her nieces and nephews, extended family and her good neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the family funeral home, Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Monday (22nd May 2023) from 5.00pm concluding with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm followed by removal to St. Michael’s Church, Danesfort. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am on Tuesday (23rd May) in St. Michael’s Church and followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery, Kilkenny City. The funeral cortege will pass St. Rioch's St en route to St. Kieran's Cemetery on Tuesday at approximately 12.45pm for neighbours and friends who may wish to show their respect.

Family flowers only please, donations if desired to the Kilkenny Branch St. Vincent De Paul or The Capuchin Friary Kilkenny. Donation box in Funeral Home and Church.

The death has occurred of Mary Orr (née Walsh)
Ballycuddihy, Johnstown, Kilkenny

Peacefully, in the care of the staff of the Sacred Heart Nursing Home, Crosspatrick. Predeceased by her mother Teresa, and father Paddy. Deeply regretted by her sorrowing husband Nickey, daughter Trish (Thornton), son in law Stephen, grandchildren Joey, Katie and Nicky, brothers in law, sister in law, cousins, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Doyles Funeral Home, Urlingford (E41 XO38) from 5pm to 7pm on Saturday. Requiem Mass on Monday at 11am in St. Kieran's Church, Johnstown, followed by burial in Johnstown Cemetery.

The death has occurred of Tom (Thomas) Kealy
Aughamuckey, Castlecomer, Kilkenny, R95 N2TH

Kealy Aughamuckey, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny 17th May 2023, Peacefully at St Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by his loving family.

Thomas (Tom), Predeceased by his parents Bridie & Joe and his sisters Mary (O’Neill) and Catherine (Duffin).

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Margaret, his children Joseph, Rosarie, Colm and Marianna, his sister Alice (Cullen), Hackettstown, daughters in Law Teresa and Lucy, sons in law John Carton and Daniel Hennessy, his cherished grandchildren Kevin, Laura, Maria, John, Anna, Orla, Sean, Cara, Ruairi and James, brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at his home, Eircode R95 N2TH from 12midday Friday concluding with Rosary and Vigil prayers at 8.00pm.

Funeral cortege to Arrive at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer for requiem Mass at 10am on Saturday morning.

Tom’s Burial will take place immediately afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The family acknowledge the wonderful care Tom received in Archersrath Nursing Home.
