'Beautiful soul' - Tributes pour in following the death of Kilkenny woman Maura Murphy
Tributes have poured in following the death of Maura Murphy (nee O'Brien) from Courtnaboughla, Goresbridge, County Kilkenny.
Maura passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 5, surrounded by her family at Waterford Critical Care.
Many have took to RIP.IE to share their condolences with Maura's family.
One person wrote: "So sorry to hear of Maura's passing a lovely caring lady may Maura rest in peace."
Another said: "Our sincere condolences John and boys on the death of Maura. I remember her being one of the first to welcome me here on our first Christmas, so good natured. May she rest in peace."
Others expressed their sympathies on Facebook, with one person commenting: "I'm so incredibly sad to see this, Maura was a beautiful lady who looked after everyone. So sorry John may Maura rest in peace."
Maura will be reposing in Johnston's Funeral Home in Kilkenny on Thursday from 5pm to 8pm. Requiem Mass will be held on Friday at 12 o'clock in Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Skeoughvosteen, with Interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
