Students enjoyed treat decorating, festive dancing and a visit with Santa himself.
The event was a whole school effort, with home baked treats from the Home Economics Department, wooden ornaments crafted by the Woodwork Department, and hot chocolates prepared by the TY Barista course in partnership with Coffee Laboratory. The Art Department created the decorations, supported by installation work from Mr Burke and Ms May.
Guidance throughout the workshops was provided by the Student Council and Ms Broderick, while festive activities were led by Ms Gleeson, Ms Doyle and Ms Tracy. TY Co-ordinators Ms Purcell and Ms Corrway oversaw the day’s events, assisted by elves Terri and Skye, with Mr Larkin starring as Santa.
KCVS extends thanks to all staff and students who helped make the day a memorable seasonal celebration. And we wish everyone a safe and happy Christmas and a wonderful new year.
