The 22km-long ‘Greenway’ in south Kilkenny is to connect Ferrybank and New Ross along a disused railway line
Two information nights have been organised to look at links between the South East Greenway and the villages of Glenmore and Slieverue.
As the opening of the first sections of the greenway gets closer, routes to link it to Glenmore and Slieverue are being examined.
Emerging route options will be looked at during the upcoming info sessions.
Meetings will take place in:
Slieverue Parish Hall on Tuesday, March 8, from 4pm to 7pm
Glenmore Parish Hall on Thursday, March 10, from 4pm to 7pm
Information will also be on display in the Ferrybank Area Office and Ferrybank Library during normal opening hours and also at www.trailkilkenny.ie and www.southeastgreenway.net
Comments or observations are welcome by email to info@roadplan.ie up to 4pm on Thursday, March 31. Submissions should be marked 'Glenmore and Slieverue links to South East Greenway.'
