Temperatures expected to soar in Kilkenny (File Photo)
The latest Met Éireann HARMONIE model has forecast that temperatures of up to 30°C are possible tomorrow (Tuesday) in some areas of Ireland.
The model (shared widely to followers by Alan O'Reilly of Carlow Weather) shows a temperature of 29°C in the vicinity of the northern edge of Kilkenny.

Met Éireann have confirmed that it will be dry for most tomorrow with spells of sunshine, however, a few scattered showers may develop in places through the day which could be heavy or thundery.
Highest temperatures of 21 to 27 degrees generally (although these temperatures could be exceeded in small pockets) in light southeasterly or variable breezes.

It will be warm and humid in general over the next few days with plenty of dry weather, though some showery interludes are likely.
Tuesday night: Largely dry overnight with clear spells and a few showers. Cloudier conditions will build in the southwest later with the possibility of some outbreaks of rain developing towards dawn. Temperatures again not falling below 12 to 16 degrees with light southerly or variable breezes.
Wednesday: Another warm and humid day with sunny spells though showers or showery outbreaks of rain will likely push up from the south with some thunderstorms possible. Highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees for most with light to moderate southerly breezes.
Wednesday night: Showers will ease overnight with mostly cloudy conditions and some limited clear spells developing. Very mild with temperatures not falling below 14 to 16 degrees, in light to moderate southwesterly breezes.

Thursday: A mix of cloud and sunny spells with scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees in light to moderate southwest breezes.
Friday: Sunny spells with light outbreaks of rain breaking up through the day to leave longer spells of sunshine later on. Highest temperatures of 21 to 25 degrees with light variable breezes.
The weekend: Current indications suggest that it will continue warm into the weekend with temperatures generally in the low to mid-twenties. Plenty of dry weather is likely too though further showers are possible at times.
