There is a further risk of flooding in County Kilkenny this week with forecasters warning more heavy rain is on the way.
Met Eireann has issued a yellow warning for rain locally along with counties, Carlow, Cork, Dublin, Waterford, Wexford and Wicklow.
Rain falling on already saturated ground combined with high river levels could lead to flooding, poor visibility and difficult travelling conditions.

The warning is in effect between 11pm on Tuesday and 11pm on Wednesday and follows a difficult start to the year with heavy rainfall and flooding leaving numerous Kilkenny communities left cleaning up the mess!
