ESB Networks are attempting to restore power as quickly as possible
Over two-thousand people are estimated to be without power in Kilkenny at present due to damage caused by Storm Eunice.
Two faults have been reported to the ESB Network this morning close to Castlecomer in North Kilkenny.
One of those faults is currently impacting 1351 electricity customers and the other fault is impacting 832.
The estimated power restoration time for both faults is 7pm, subject to change.
Meanwhile, in Kilkenny City, a fault reported at Purcellsinch is currently affecting 721 people.
Once again, the estimated power restoration time is 7pm, subject to change.
In South Kilkenny, electricity has been restored to over 80 people in the Granagh area.
ESB Networks apologise for the loss of supply.
They are currently working to repair faults and will restore power as quickly as possible.
Reminder: A 'Status Yellow' wind warning remains in place for Kilkenny until 6pm today.
