Busking competition to feature as part of Kilkenny festival

The local hall in Graignamanagh will be holding a busking competition over the Town of Books Festival.

This is aimed at young people around the town and surrounding areas (you don’t have to live in Graig’, but we ask those that gig already not enter as we’d like to showcase the many talented young people in the local area).

We will be offering timed slots. An entrance fee will be in place, but performers can claim back the fee after they perform. There will be cash prizes for winners.

Under-18s will need parental permission and we ask under-16s to be accompanied by an adult.

So get practicing, approximately 30 min slots, further details will follow in the coming weeks along with registration info.
