Dancing With The Stars - Katelyn Cummins, Rose of Tralee

Dancing with the Stars

Have the tissues at the ready because this Sunday the ballroom will be getting emotional with the annual Dedicated Dance special on Dancing With The Stars.

The contestants will honour a person or people who have made an impact on their lives, and dedicate a dance to them.

The good news for the nine celebrities is that no one leaves the competition this week, but everything is still to play for as the couple with the highest combined points from the judges and public votes will earn immunity from the first Dance-Off of the series, next week!

Rose of Tralee Katelyn Cummins will dedicate her dance to her parents, Noel and Siobhan. She and partner Leonardo Lini will perform Contemporary Ballroom to ‘Never Enough’ by Kelly Clarkson. The emotional routine will honour her parents’ unwavering support throughout her life, particularly with challenges she faced growing up with a hearing impairment.

Each celebrity couple will be scored by an expert panel of four judges: Oti Mabuse, Brian Redmond, Arthur Gourounlian and Karen Byrne, and as well as the viewing public at home, with the winning couple claiming the much-coveted glitterball trophy at the end of the series.

Dancing with the Stars is hosted by Jennifer Zamparelli and Laura Fox and airs Sundays at 6:30pm on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player until mid-March.
