Final callout for Kilkenny entrepreneurs to submit nominations

The closing date for nominations is February 17

The search for the most innovative, ambitious and exceptional business leaders on the island of Ireland is entering its final stage, with one week to go until nominations close for the 2026 EY Entrepreneur Of The Year (EOY) programme on February 17.

EY is encouraging entrepreneurs across Kilkenny to submit a nomination for themselves or a deserving peer before the deadline.

The EOY programme is open to entrepreneurs from all sectors and at every stage of growth. Twenty‑four finalists will be selected by an independent judging panel of former winners, chaired by Harry Hughes of Portwest, and will take part in a nine‑month strategic growth experience. This includes executive education, networking forums, tailored media profiling and the annual CEO Retreat, which this year will be held in Toronto, Canada. They also join the EOY alumni community of more than 680 entrepreneurs, representing businesses that collectively employ over 275,000 people and generate more than €28 billion in annual revenues.

Roger Wallace, Head of Assurance and EY Entrepreneur Of The Year Ireland, commented:

“Entrepreneurs in Kilkenny and across the island of Ireland play an essential role in shaping our economic future. With just one week left to nominate, we are encouraging founders who bring vision, creativity and determination to put themselves forward. The EOY programme exists to celebrate and support these leaders, and we look forward to welcoming another outstanding cohort in 2026.”

How to nominate

Anyone in Kilkenny interested in applying, or nominating someone else with their consent, can complete the online nomination form at www.eoy.ie. Nominations close on February 17.

The EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ Ireland programme is supported by Premium Corporate Sponsor Julius Baer International, and Government sponsor Enterprise Ireland. Invest Northern Ireland is a long-standing supporter of the programme.
