Unhinged Promotions, founded by TikTok and social media influencer HSTikkyTokky (who recently featured in Louis Theroux's Netflix documentary Inside the Manosphere) is bringing British rapper Russ Millions and other online personalities to The Hub in Kilkenny

TikTok personality and social media influencer HSTikkyTokky has informed his followers that he is planning to visit Kilkenny ahead of Unhinged 003, a boxing event in The Hub at Cillín Hill that aims to bring a large contingent of predominantly British rappers and influencers to The Marble City.

Describing Kilkenny as being ‘in the middle of nowhere’, HSTikkyTokky (whose real name is Harrison Sullivan) gained a lot of publicity recently after featuring in Louis Theroux’s documentary ‘Inside The Manosphere’ on Netflix.

Away from his online content, Sullivan has established a presence in influencer boxing through Unhinged Promotions, which describes itself on its website as a UK creator fight promotion founded by HSTikkyTokky.

“If you are in Kilkenny, I’m going to be arriving a few days before Unhinged Promotions where Russ is fighting Kirky and I’m going to spreading my love in the town,” he said on a recent livestream.

“I’m going to go around Kilkenny that day on stream,” he also said. “I’m gonna go around, and try and like, push tickets. Go around and show you guys what Kilkenny is saying. Try get people to come, basically.”

Sullivan also commented about ticket sales for the event, and the challenges the that the choice of venue poses.

“If it’s in London obviously we’d be selling out 3,000 tickets,” he stated. “We’re in a random town in Ireland. I’m not making excuses either. To sell 600 tickets in a town that’s in the middle of nowhere on my first event selling tickets I think is pretty impressive.”

The choice of Kilkenny for Unhinged Promotions’ latest event likely came as a surprise to many, but The Hub has explained how the unusual booking came about.

Speaking to Kilkenny Live, a spokesperson for the venue confirmed that Unhinged Promotions had approached The Hub directly several months ago.

“The Hub was contacted by Unhinged Promotions who were looking for a large indoor venue in the south of Ireland with high ceilings that could accommodate a boxing-style event,” the spokesperson explained.

“We are the largest indoor concert and event venue in the southeast of Ireland and we have hosted a number of boxing, martial arts and MMA-style events in the past.

“We also host a large number of music concerts yearly with artists from all over the world.”

The spokesperson confirmed that the British promotion booked the venue directly, rather than working through a local promoter.

The venue spokesperson stressed that The Hub is not involved in organising or selling tickets for the event itself.

"We just hire the venue to the promoters. We have no involvement with running the events or selling tickets," the spokesperson said.

The documentary Inside The Manosphere, which heavily featured HSTikkyTokky, served as an attempt to explore the world of male-focused online influencers, querying their views on masculinity, relationships, wealth and the influence they have on younger audiences.

Much of Sullivan's own social media content centres on fitness, confidence, financial independence and self-improvement, themes which form part of his appeal to young men.

Unhinged Promotions have also been contacted for comment.
