Kilkenny's Pia Langton
Kilkenny were strongly represented at the European U18 Athletics Championships in Slovakia last weekend.
Kilkenny native Pia Langton crossed the line eighth with a time of 2:10.87 in the Women's 800m Final, while teammate Saoirse Fitzgerald coming in fifth place.

Meanwhile, fellow local athlete Molly Daly's hugely positive championships came to an end at the semi-final stage of the 200m with a seventh placed finish (24.81).
