A young Laois teenage girl who was reported missing six days ago, has been found safely.
Gardaí issued an update on Thursday evening on Nicole Doyle, 14, who was reported missing from Portlaoise, since Friday, October 6.
In their appeal, the Gardaí had said that when last seen, Nicole was wearing a navy school uniform, in the Drimnagh area of Dublin 12, but it was understood she could be in Belfast. They had renewed their appeal two days ago.
Nicole now "has been located safely," they say.
"Gardaí would like to thank the public and the media for their assistance."
