Langtons Hotel in the heart of Kilkenny City is yet again in the running for a coveted national award.
The long-established John Street business has been nominated for; Best City/Town/Urban Venue, Best Wedding Coordinator/Team in Leinster and Most Inclusive Wedding Venue at the Wedding Excellence Awards 2026.
The awards celebrates excellence, creativity, and community within the Irish wedding industry, bringing together the finest venues, coordinators, and teams who have made countless couples' dreams come true.

In a Langtons social media post, a spokesperson said they were 'absolutely thrilled' at the nomination.
Previously, the local hotel was crowned Ireland’s Best Civil Ceremony Wedding Venue 2025 by Wedding Suppliers, Wedding Dates’ Top Rated City Wedding Venue in 2023 and 2024. Additionally, Langtons Hotel was nominated for an award with The Gold Medal Awards with Virgin Media for Small Wedding Venue 2024.
