The death has occurred of Michael Wilkins, Loughsullis, Dunnamaggin, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Belfast. Peacefully, surrounded by his loving family at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on Wednesday, April 30, 2025. Pre-deceased by his mother Mary Catherine, his father William and his siblings William, Ann, Stephen and Noreen. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sorrowing family, his wife Trish, his daughters Mary and Claire, brothers Martin and Paul, sisters Una and Deirdre, sons-in-law Keith Murphy and David Lyons, his adored grandchildren Alex, Ollie, Edee, Cara and Grace, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.
Reposing at Molloy’s Funeral Home, Callan (Eircode R95 Y443), on Thursday, May 1, from 5pm concluding with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 7pm. Funeral Prayers on Friday, May 2, at 10am followed by removal to St. Leonard’s Church, Dunnamaggin, (Eircode R95 NN56) arriving for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial will follow afterwards in Kilmoganny Cemetery. For those who would like to view the Funeral Mass can do so through, Windgap, Tullahought, Dunnamaggin and Kilmoganny Catholic Churches Facebook Page. Family flowers only please, donations if desired to Mount Carmel Home, Callan. Donation boxes will be situated in the funeral home and the church.
The death has occurred of Carmel Larkin (nee O'Shea), Dunmore, Co. Kilkenny and formerly of Nenagh, Co. Tipperary. Carmel passed away on April 30, 2025, peacefully, at St. James Hospital, Dublin. Predeceased by her beloved husband William (Bill) and her siblings Maura, Ollie and Seamus. Beloved mother of Liam and Suzanne. Carmel will be deeply missed by her loving family, sister Laura, daughter-in-law Rhonda, son-in-law Andy, grandchildren Aoife, Jamie, Shona and Megan, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends.
Reposing at her home in Dunmore (R95HD34) on Friday, May 2, from 5pm to 7pm with Rosary and Vigil Prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass on Saturday at 10.30am in St. John's Church, Kilkenny. Interment afterwards in Dunmore Cemetery. The Requiem Mass will be live streamed HERE

The death has occurred of Padraig Bolger, formerly Stone Court, The Green, Ballyragget, Co. Kilkenny, and Carlow, on April 29, 2025 in the gentle care of the Kilkenny Care Centre. Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Violet Bolger, O’Hanrahan Avenue, Carlow. Beloved husband of Ann (née Payne) and much loved father of Niall, Ciara and Emma. Sadly missed by his loving son, daughters, sister Margaret, also by Lucia, son-in-law Declan, daughter-in-law Janet, Emma’s partner Michael, his adored grandchildren Laura, Conor, Ryan, Roan, Orna, Sorcha and Thernean, great-grandchildren Indie and Páidí, brothers-in-law, sister-in-law, nephews, nieces, cousins, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his daughter Emma’s home (18 High Street, Ballyragget R95 XY94) on Friday, May 2, from 4pm to 8pm. Removal on Saturday morning to St. Patrick’s Church, Ballyragget to arrive for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Finnian’s Cemetery, Ballyragget.
